five senses friday

Smelling:

woodsmoke from our neighbor’s woodstove. mmmmm.

Seeing:

the first rays of light appearing on my way to work in the mornings – one plus of the end of DST.

Hearing:

laughter & happy chatter, mostly that of children & my fantastic family.

Tasting:

sweet potato fries – contributed to tuesday’s lunch by Danielle who came home with me after work to make applesauce.

Feeling:

tired with a side of headache. happy it’s friday & ready for the weekend!
